  1. The circulatory system refers to the heart, blood vessels and also the blood.

The major functions of the circulatory system are :-
  • To move nutrients, gases and waste products around the body.
  • To guard the body from infection and blood loss.
  • To assist the body maintain a relentless vital sign ('thermoregulation')
  • To keep up fluid balance within the body.

1. HEART
  • The heart may be a muscular organ which pumps blood through the blood vessels of the vascular system. The pumped blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the body.
  • The center may be a muscular organ about the scale of a fist.
  • It's a awfully strong muscle. it's on the left side of the body in humans.

2. BLOOD VESSELS
  • The blood vessels are the components of the vascular system that transport blood throughout the body.
  • These vessels transport blood cells, nutrients, and oxygen to the tissues of the body.
  • They also take waste and carbonic acid gas aloof from the tissues. Blood vessels are needed to sustain life, because all of the body's tissues depend on their functionality.
